We at CG Spot owe Bittbox a measure of gratitude for the article written for the Designer Blogger. You have inspired me to create a blog for my studio site. I have, twice in the past tried to get into a blogging mood - once for a personal blog, and once for the studio. I too am a designer and coder; I have very little experience programming (gives me a headache), and trying to get Wordpress activated was challenging, and ultimately too aggravating to get the site looking good with themes and the like.
I came across your blog today and read through quite a lot of your posts. Obviously I came across your article titled: Blogging from a Designer’s Perspective. I realized I have almost the exact same mentality and (*cough) attention span.
After your post I was motivated to check out my hosting company’s features, and sure enough - they offer a simple-to-setup blog (and it’s Wordpress too, go figure). So salute to you and thanks!

This pack has 30 free vector and png icons in six colors. “Vidro” stands for glass in Portuguese. The set goes from the RSS icon to the Fast Forward one. Hope you find them useful.
These icons are absolutely stunning! I checked them out, and had to share them with you. These would make a great addition to any library.

In this tutorial you learn different techniques to create abstract backgrounds. Abstract backgrounds are easy to create in Illustrator with a couple of simple techniques.
Using Gradient Meshes, Steps Blends and Opacity Masks you can quickly create an abstract background.
